  Gus, you are amazing and the best! Your hospitality is like nothing I've ever experienced, and your pizza (especially that delicious imported cheese), dried lamb, metaxa, and ouzo will be remembered by me until old age. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories! My father and I visited you with Bruce Murdoch many years ago, and my mother shortly after. We will always remember you and your food.

  The dry ribs are one of my favourite things to eat in all of Hinton. The Greek salad is superb, and they usually have a reasonably priced special for those looking for a full plate.
  
  Oh, and the pizza? You have to try it, so good!

  Friendly staff good atmosphere. For the price the food didn't deliver the GUSto. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a bad slice but the dough was lacking though the toppings weren't. Spaghetti was bland and the meatballs had to much carb filler. The French onion soup lacked the proper carmilizing of the onions leaving the soup with a more raw onion flavour then a French onion flavour. They did deliver the cheese so all and all not a bad meal. Would I return maybe but I'd check out a few other spots before I'd be back.

  I was the only young person in the restaurant, everyone else was between middle aged and senior. The owner was in the dining room personally greeting all his partons, except for me. I only received occasional dirty look as if he was worried I was stealing the cutlery. I found this rude and will not be returning strictly because of the owners manerisms.

  Traveling in Alberta a few days ago...stopped in a local coffee shop and asked where the best pizza in Hinton could be found...Gus' she said. Not much to be seen from the outside but I had the absolute best Caesar Salad I've ever had and the pizza was equally as good! And, they like their hockey!
